Modus first Irish language ecommerce site live

Another first for Modus. We’ve just put our first as Gaeilge ecommerce site live. Futa Fata is an independent publishing house, working predominately in the Irish (Gaelic) language. The vast majority of their output is for children and young people but they have a small number of titles for adults.

They have a big following for their books, among both native speakers of Irish and among children all over the country who attend Gaelscoileanna, Irish-medium immersion schools. Futa Fata titles are also used extensively in Irish schools, all over the island of Ireland. Their publications and audio recordings have been highly praised by children, parents and educators alike for the accessible, natural style of Irish used.

Futa Fata is the Irish publisher most involved in international co-edition, publishing Irish editions of titles in co-operation with partners in Spain, Belgium, Canada, the US, and the UK. They offer their own original titles on the international market, either as co-edition or through licensing agreement.

Modus completely redesigned and redeveloped the Futa Fata site. It is full ecommerce functionality, a content management system, social media and of course the entire site is bilingual. Visit www.futafata.ie.
