Happy Christmas from Modus

Happy Christmas from ModusWe at Modus would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year. Thanks very much for your business and support in 2015 and we look forward to working with you again in 2016 and beyond.

No Card for You!

As usual, instead of sending Christmas cards, Modus has made a donation to Laois Offaly Families For Autism – a local parents support group for the families of children and adults with autism sharing information and experiences offering an understanding environment and opportunities to meet others living in similar circumstances.

Busy Year

2015 was another busy year and we have a lot of good news to look back on. We had sites in the finals of the Realex Fire Irish Web Awards and the eir Spiders. We are proud to continue to work and grow with long-term clients such as Aiken Promotions Ltd., Conradh na Gaeilge, Irish Music Rights Organisation, Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute. In 2015, we launched new sites for An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha, Business World, Horizon 2020, Futa Fata, Rith 2016, Lime Tree Theatre, Noone Casey Accountants and Warner Music Ireland. In the new year we’ll be launching new websites for Aiken Promotions, IMRO, Association of Irish Stage Technicians, Vicar Street and many more.

Horizon 2020 site live

horizon2020-ieModus has just launched the redesigned and redeveloped horizon2020.ie for Enterprise Ireland. Horizon 2020 is a European Union initiative being promoted in Ireland by Enterprise Ireland. Horizon 2020 is divided into 3 main areas: Excellent Science, Competitive Industries and Better Society.

Each of these priorities addresses a European issue. Excellent Science will build up the capacity of excellent scientists and the research capacity of Europe; Competitive Industries will underpin the competitiveness of industry in Europe and maximise its growth potential; Better Society will address major societal challenges of concern not only to European citizens but at a global level and with a new focus on innovation led activities. In addition, the Better Societies’ challenge will allow the social sciences and humanities scientific community to study issues such as smart and sustainable growth, social transformations in European societies, social innovation and creativity, the position of Europe as a global actor as well as the social dimension of a secure society. Say hello to the new CLRG.ie

clrg.ieModus has just launched the new website of An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha / The Irish Dancing Commission.
The objective of An Coimisiún is to preserve and promote Irish Dancing, including step dancing, céili dancing and other team dancing, and also to promote the use of the Irish language. clrg.ie is the latest bi-lingual website designed and developed by Modus. We have already won An Suiomh Gaeilge is Fearr (Best Irish Language Website) at the Irish Web Awards twice for Futa Fata (2012) and Conradh na Gaeilge (2014). So, we’re getting a bit of a reputation for developing sites that work equally well as Béarla / as Gaeilge. The CLRG site not only has everything you need to know about the world of Irish dance, but there is a password protected area for teachers worldwide to renew their subscriptions and keep their details up-to-date.
