We’re going to need a bigger trophy cabinet. Another Modus web site won an Irish Web Award last night at the Mansion House in Dublin. www.futafata.ie is the web site of Futa Fata, which publishes Irish language childrens’ books from its base in An Spidéal, Co. na Gaillimhe. The site was also a finalist in the Best Ecommerce category. Futa Fata beat off strong competition to win the Best Irish Language Web Site (An Suoímh Gaeilge is Fearr). Well done to the other finalists tg4.ie, mileata.ie, foinse.ie, gleg.ie, oideachas.gaelsceal.ie and star-ts.com/ga.

Futa Fata’s Tadhg Mac Dhonnagáin said “Míle buíochas and congrats to @ModusIT for designing a site that has been a great success for us – and now this award!” Eamon Donovan, Marketing Director at Modus, said “We’re delighted to win another award at this prestigious event. And we’re thrilled for Futa Fata, who are great to work with.”

We’ve won Irish Web Awards before for Phantom 105.2 FM (Best Radio site 2008 and 2009). We’ve been nominated and shortlisted for a load of Irish Web Awards since its inception so we’re looking forward to a cracking knees-up as usual on Dawson Street in November.

Well done to our clients www.futafata.ie, www.digitalswitch.ie and www.disabilitybray.ie for reaching the finals.
